Moisture Content
All boards are seasoned and then kiln dried to between 8 – 10% moisture content which is suitable for use over under-floor heating systems. Please discuss your heating system with us prior to ordering.
Storage
All our German flooring is shrunk wrapped into five board bundles. This protects the flooring from adverse conditions prior to laying and gives a factory fresh quality to your oak flooring. All other products are packaged into cardboard cartons and layers of flooring are separated by sponge paper to protect the oiled finish. Finally each order is delivered on pallets, which are wrapped and strapped. After delivery the flooring should be stored in dry conditions until required.
Calculations
You should add an extra 5 – 7% in your measurements for wastage.
Terms and Conditions
Our terms and conditions are available on request and will be forwarded with our order confirmation. We require a deposit of 25% at the time of placing an order. The balance is payable immediately after delivery.
Delivery
We deliver anywhere in the country. Generally our flooring can be supplied within 10 days from receipt of order, but if you require our flooring urgently we endeavour to meet your requirements. On the day of delivery can you please ensure that there is someone at the delivery address to receive the flooring. In addition if there is an access problem can you let us know as we need to inform our haulier.
